Ice Cream Dipping Cabinets – Canada
We have many customers in Canada. But before you order one of our cabinets, please read the next few paragraphs.
Years ago, most Canadian ice cream manufacturers moved to a 11.4 liter plastic tub as the preferred way to package scooped ice cream. These “buckets” or “pails” are different than the traditional 3 gallon cardboard container made by most ice cream companies in the US. Most US made cabinets are made specifically for the 3 gallon cardboard tubs made here.
Long story short, there are many dipping cabinets and can holder systems that simply don’t work very well for these Canadian tubs. The Canadian tub will sit too high in the cabinet and the top part of the tub will be soft.
